Tower subdomains

Some towers want a simple website at a subdomain like your-tower.ringing.uk.

This site supports per-tower subdomains using static Markdown files and a shared tower directory.

Request a subdomain

1. Make sure your tower is in the directory (towers.csv) with a unique slug.

2. Prepare the content you want to show (text, practice details, contact, links, photos).

3. Contact the site admin and include:

• Your tower slug (for example alford)
• The preferred subdomain name
• Who should be allowed to maintain the content

Updating your subdomain

If you already have a subdomain and need changes (new practice times, new contact details, new photos), please contact the site admin.

Longer term, the plan is to allow tower contacts (and users who manage multiple towers) to log in and maintain their own content in the admin area.
